Spaghetti with Lemon Chicken

Prepare this juicy and tangy lemon chicken over a bed of spiced spaghetti that you will surely love. You don't need many ingredients and it's very easy to cook.

  • 500 grams spaghetti
  • 1 bunch asparagus, cut into pieces
  • 3/4 cups whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 4 chicken breasts, in fajitas
  • 1 tablespoon basil, chopped
  • 1/3 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 4 leaves basil, for decoration

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and add the asparagus in the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pot, heat the heavy cream with the butter, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and cook for about 4 minutes over medium heat until it thickens. Remove from heat and add the lemon zest and juice.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Season the breasts with salt and pepper and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Add the pasta, the cream, and mix very well. Cook for 5 more minutes, remove from heat, and add the chopped basil.
  • Serve the pasta with the chicken. Add grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil.
