Stuffed Ham and Cheese Milanesa

  • 4 slices Manchego cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • French fries, for presentation

  • Season the pork steaks with salt and pepper.
  • Place the slices of ham on top of the pork steak, add the manchego cheese, the slice of ham, and close with the help of toothpicks.
  • Beat the egg with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the milanesa in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the milanesa, removing excess grease with paper towels.
  • Serve with French fries.
