Teriyaki Burgers with Pineapple

A delicious recipe to make on a nice summer or spring day at a barbecue. The pineapple and burgers are grilled, adding a touch of teriyaki sauce.

900 grams ground beef
2 onions, finely chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon thyme
slices pineapple, thick
1/2 cups teriyaki sauce
6 burger buns
1 pinch pepper
salt, to taste
bacon, optional

Preheat the grill.
Put the meat, egg, onion, and thyme in a large glass bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well with your hands.
Make 6 burgers by hand. You can use a knife to shape the sides. Brush the burgers and pineapple with teriyaki sauce on each side.
Grill the burgers on high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. At the same time, grill the pineapples for the same amount of time on each side.
Meanwhile, cut the buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill.
Serve each burger with a slice of pineapple and a slice of bacon on a hamburger bun.
