Turkey Pie

This turkey pie recipe is perfect for giving a different twist to the classic leftovers. You can prepare it with the turkey you have left over, add some vegetables, and the result will be delicious. Surprise your family with this amazing leftover recipe!

  • 4 cups turkey, for the filling, baked and shredded
  • 1/2 cups onion, for the filling, finely chopped
  • 1 cup peas, for the filling, cooked
  • 1 cup corn kernels, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups sour cream, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise, for the filling
  • salt, for the filling
  • pepper, for the filling
  • 1 puff pastry
  • 2 egg yolks, for brushing
  • cherry tomato, for decorating
  • rosemary, for decorating

  • In a bowl, mix the turkey, onion, peas, corn, cream, mayonnaise, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Sprinkle your table with flour and roll out the puff pastry, cutting it in half. Roll out both parts with a rolling pin, placing one part over the previously greased and floured baking dish. Cut the second part of the dough with a plate of the same circumference as the mold and use a cutter to form some leaves for steam to escape from the pie. Set aside.
  • Place the filling on the dough in the mold and place the other part of the puff pastry on top of the filling. Use your fingers to seal the two parts of the dough as shown in the video and brush with egg yolks. Bake for 40 minutes or until the dough is cooked at 180° C.
  • Decorate the pie with rosemary and fresh blueberries. Serve with a delicious punch.
