Roast Turkey with Rosemary and Orange

  • 1 turkey, clean and without entrails
  • 3/4 cups margarine with salt I can't believe it's not Butter®
  • 1 orange peels, in fine strips
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped, only the leaves
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper

  • Dry the turkey thoroughly with paper towels and tie it with hemp string at the legs and wings.
  • Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Place the turkey on a rack in a baking tray, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for approximately 3 hours.
  • Mix the Margarine I Can't Believe It's Not Butter® with the rest of the ingredients until a smooth paste forms.
  • Once the turkey is warm, spread this mixture over it to ensure it is well covered and seasoned.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 180 °C and bake the turkey again (without aluminum foil), basting it every 30 minutes for another 2 hours or until it is well browned and cooked.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes. Place on a platter decorated with orange leaves and serve.
