Turkey Breast with Thyme Gravy

  • 1 1/2 kilos turkey breast, tied
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning for poultry
  • 1/4 onions, blended in the blender with 2 cloves of garlic and 1 1/2 cups of white wine
  • 3 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 sprigs celery, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Maggi seasoning sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • Spread the breast with the onion, add the seasonings, place in a baking dish, and let marinate for 3 hours or overnight.
  • Bake at 200 ºC with a thermometer, basting every 20 minutes with white wine to prevent drying out.
  • In the butter, sauté the vegetables until they are colored, about 20 minutes.
  • Add the beef consommé, sherry, Maggi sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, let simmer until the vegetables are cooked.
  • Strain by pressing, return to the pot and add the turkey juice, thicken with bisto, add a little pepper (the bisto has salt).
