Turkey Salpicón

This turkey salpicón can be a great way to improvise for leftovers after Christmas, but it can also be a fresh dish in any other season when you want to step away from the typical chicken. Saladitas® pair perfectly with the acidity and freshness of the turkey salpicón, and to prepare the vinaigrette and make it delicious, we recommend that the olive oil be cold.

  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 cups turkey, cooked
  • 1 1/2 cups red onion, pickled
  • 1 cup tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cups serrano chile, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups lettuce, cut into thin strips

  • Saladitas® saltine crackers

  • For the vinaigrette, mix the lime juice, salt, pepper, and oregano; drizzle in the olive oil until fully incorporated. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the turkey, red onion, tomato, serrano pepper, cilantro, and lettuce. Add the vinaigrette and mix.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve with Saladitas®.
