Veal Scaloppine with Lemon

Delicious veal scaloppine cooked in a lemon and olive oil sauce.

  • 8 calf steak, (or breaded cutlets)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 3 limes, (its juice)
  • 1 orange, (its juice)
  • 1 lime, (the zest)

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge each scaloppine in the mixture and coat, then place on a plate.
  • Heat half of the oil and fry the scaloppine two at a time for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Gradually add the remaining oil.
  • Once all the scaloppine are fried, add the lemon juice, orange juice, and zest. Return the scaloppine to the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
