Vegetable Wire Rolls

Enjoy these beef steak rolls filled with sliced Caperucita® Panela Cheese accompanied by mushrooms and bell peppers. They are easy to prepare and a perfect option for your weekly menu.

  • 2 cups Caperucita® sliced panela cheese
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 cup red onion, in strips
  • 1 cup oyster mushrooms, in strips
  • 2 cuaresmeño chiles, in strips
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, in strips
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, in strips
  • 2 tablespoons seasoning sauce
  • 1/4 cups cilantro, finely chopped
  • salt

  • corn tortillas, to accompany
  • avocado, slices, to accompany
  • blistered chile, to accompany

  • On a board, place a piece of beef steak, season with salt and pepper on both sides, add two pieces of sliced Caperucita® Panela Cheese on top of the meat, roll up and hold with wooden toothpicks. Set aside until use.
  • In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat and cook the red onion until it has a shiny tone. Add the mushrooms, cuaresmeño chili, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Add the cheese-stuffed steak rolls, lower the flame, and cook until they start to brown; then add the cilantro and pour in the seasoning juice; season with a little salt and pepper, mix the ingredients, and cook for 6 more minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Serve hot, accompanied by tortillas, avocado, lime, and roasted chiles.
