Wiener Schnitzel - Beef Milanese

The Wiener Schnitzel or Beef Milanese is a recipe that everyone loves, especially children. It consists of breaded and fried slices of beef in butter. It is served with lemon and French fries.

  • 1/2 kilos veal, cut into four slices
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 lime

  • Flatten the beef slices with a meat mallet or a heavy skillet (you can place the meat between parchment paper to make it easier).
  • Dredge the slices of beef in flour, then dip them in egg, and finally coat them in breadcrumbs.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter and fry the beef slices until golden brown.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and French fries.
