Christmas Canapés

If your guests have already arrived and you didn't have an appetizer ready to welcome them, preparing these delicious Christmas canapés will only take you 20 minutes. To make this simple no-bake snack recipe, a dressing of mayonnaise with dill and a bit of smoked salmon will be all you need. If you need to improvise, use tuna instead of salmon.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise with lemon juice McCormick®, for the dressing
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dill, finely chopped
  • 6 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 cup smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • cherry tomato, for decoration

  • For the dressing, mix McCormick® mayonnaise with the chives, sour cream, garlic powder, dill, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut the sandwich bread, spread each piece with the dressing, add the salmon, and decorate with tomato and fresh dill.
