  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cups Domino® raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch clove powder
  • 1 pinch ginger powder
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • royal icing
  • edible pearls

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C before starting the recipe.Attach the hook attachment to the mixer. Place the butter and Domino® Brown Sugar in the mixing bowl. Mix until the sugar dissolves and the butter is soft.
  • Add the vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and flour. Continue mixing until you have a homogeneous dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle a flat surface with a little flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it’s about ½ centimeter thick. Use star-shaped cookie cutters of different sizes to form them. Bake at 180° C for 10 minutes or until cooked.
  • Use royal icing to assemble the gingerbread Christmas tree. Place the largest cookie on a cake base, add royal icing, and place a smaller one on top. Repeat the process until all cookies are used, stacking them from largest to smallest.Once it has dried, decorate the tree with more royal icing and edible pearls.
