Sweet and Sour Christmas Pork Loin

  • vegetable oil
  • 1 kilo pork loin
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cups onion, in eighths
  • 1 cup new potatoes
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, in large cubes
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, in large cubes
  • 2 cups jicama, in medium cubes
  • 1 jar Teriyaki Sauce for Kikkoman® Frosting
  • 2 sprigs rosemary

  • Season the pork loin with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a skillet or cast iron pot and sear the pork loin for 3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the onions, potatoes, peppers, and jicama for 2 minutes. Place the loin on top, drizzle with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Glaze, and garnish with rosemary.Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 180 °C for 40 minutes.
  • Remove the loin from the pot and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice into pieces.
  • Serve on a platter, drizzle with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Glaze, and accompany with vegetables.
