Brownies with Eyes

These delicious brownies with eyes are easy to make, it's an ideal recipe for Halloween, and it's a lot of fun to prepare with your kids. Give it a try!

  • 200 grams bittersweet chocolate
  • 200 grams butter, softened butter
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • chantilly cream
  • 1 bag walnuts
  • 2 packages marshmallow
  • 500 grams icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons edible glycerin
  • food coloring, in different colors (brown, green, orange)
  • 1 tub chocolate frosting

  • In a bowl, melt the chocolate with the butter. Let it cool slightly.
  • In another bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, extract (optional), and flour (do not overmix). Add cream and mix (add nuts).
  • Add the mixture to a buttered mold.
  • Bake at 175/180°C for 20 minutes (if it exceeds 20 minutes, it will become dry).
  • For the fondant: In a bowl, melt the marshmallows completely in a double boiler. In another bowl, place the powdered sugar, and add the melted marshmallows. Mix gently until a kind of dough forms. Separate and add the colors needed for decoration.
  • Cut the brownies into squares, place two circles of white fondant on each brownie, on top another smaller circle of your preferred color, and finally a dot with chocolate frosting. You can make the mouth with the same frosting or, if you prefer, with colored sprinkles.
