Cake Pops for Kids

These popsicles are made of cake and have a crunchy chocolate layer, plus they are prepared with fun colors. Remember that with this cake pop recipe for kids, they will surely turn out delicious.

  • 4 San Juan® eggs, for the cake
  • 3/4 cups maple syrup, for the cake
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for the cake
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, for the cake
  • 1 1/2 cups flour, for the cake
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking powder, for the cake
  • dark chocolate, melted, tempered
  • white chocolate, tempered and colored with green, blue, yellow, orange, pink, and red vegetable dyes; for decoration
  • strawberries, cut into quarters, for decoration
  • blueberry, for decoration

  • Blend the egg, sugar, vegetable oil, cream, baking powder, and flour for 5 minutes, until you achieve a homogeneous mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into silicone molds shaped like popsicles, then place a wooden stick and bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes. Let the cake pops cool and once cool, fill with chocolate and freeze for 1 hour.
  • Coat the frozen popsicles in dark chocolate and chill again for 3 minutes.
  • Pour the chocolate colors alternately into a small bowl, but do not mix them.
  • Dip one part of the popsicle in the colored chocolate, so that a rainbow is painted, then chill again for 3 minutes.
  • Serve the cake pops for kids and accompany with fruit.
