Almond Donuts

This almond donut recipe is perfect if you are looking for a delicious snack or dessert, but with low calories.

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons monk fruit
  • 1/4 cups almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 cups almonds
  • 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • bittersweet chocolate, melted, for decoration

  • Beat the egg whites with the monk fruit and almond milk using a mixer, mix for 1 minute or until fully combined, then add the coconut oil, vanilla, and mix for 2 more minutes. Add the almond flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix for 2 minutes or until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Spray a donut mold with cooking spray and place almonds in each of the spaces, then add the donut mixture until filling ¾ of each space. Add the chocolate pieces and submerge with a spatula. Bake at 180 °C for 18 minutes.
  • Serve the almond donuts on a flat plate and decorate with melted chocolate.
