Almond tiles

Some delicious almond cookies, ideal for any occasion.

  • 2 egg whites
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 150 grams almonds, laminated
  • 30 grams sifted flour
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 stick bittersweet chocolate

  • Beat the egg whites together with the sugar until they look very frothy, since they are frothy and the softened butter is incorporated.
  • Carefully add the sifted flour and with an enveloping movement integrate it perfectly.
  • Laminated almonds are added, reserving a few to scatter at the end above.
  • In a greased baking tray, piles of the mixture are made and spread with a spoon, leaving space between them.
  • The rolled almonds that were reserved are scattered.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 175ºC for 10 minutes.
  • They are removed and detached quickly so that they do not cool and harden.
  • They are placed on a flat surface well-arranged so that they have their shape or they can also be put on a rolling pin to give it a raised form.
  • Put the chocolate in a pot in a water bath so that it becomes liquid.
  • On top of the dried cookies, the chocolate is placed on top in the form of stripes.
  • Let the chocolate cool and ready!
