Apple Muffins

Apple muffins for every occasion, delicious! This is a healthy recipe as it is made with whole wheat flour and is low in sugar. A recipe that has an apple flavor you won't be able to resist.

  • 2 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cups artificial sweetener, granulated
  • 3/4 cups low-fat milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 apple, skinless
  • 1/2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Preheat the oven to 220ºC.
  • Place the respective papers in each muffin mold (to prevent sticking).
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar substitute, a pinch of salt, and baking powder.
  • In another bowl, mix the egg whites and milk. Chop the apple into small cubes and add it to this mixture along with the corn. Combine this entire mixture with the flour mixture.
  • Stir until the batter becomes lumpy.
  • Fill the muffin molds 2/3 full (to allow for rising) and bake for 30 minutes.
