Apple Muffins

Apple muffins for all kinds of occasions, delicious! This is a healthy recipe because it is prepared with wholemeal flour and is low in sugar. A recipe that has an apple flavor that you can not resist.

  • 2 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cups artificial sweetener, granulated
  • 3/4 cups low-fat milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 apple, without shell
  • 1/2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Preheat the oven to 220ºC.
  • Put the respective papers in each muffin mold (so that it does not stick).
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, the sugar substitute, a pinch of salt and the baking powder.
  • In another bowl mix the egg whites and the milk. Cut the apple into cubes and add it to this mixture with the corn. Add all this mixture with the flour mixture.
  • Stir until the dough is lumpy.
  • Fill the muffin molds 2/3 parts (to allow them to fluff) and bake for 30 minutes.
