Apple Pastries

Delicious and easy apple pastries made with puff pastry filled with apples, apricot jam, cinnamon, and pine nuts.

  • 350 grams puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 apples, large peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cups apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 4 tablespoons pine nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cups raisins
  • 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten with a little water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease a baking sheet with a little butter.
  • In a bowl, mix the apples with the jam, raisins, pine nuts, and cinnamon.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a clean surface with a rolling pin.
  • Cut the puff pastry into 10 cm squares and place a tablespoon of the apple filling in the center of each square. Fold each square in half.
  • Seal the squares well with your fingers and brush with the beaten egg yolk and a little sugar.
  • Bake the pastries for 25 minutes or until golden brown and remove from the oven.
