Apple Strudel

A traditional dessert. Delicious apple strudel that is easy to make and suitable for any occasion.

  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 4 apples
  • 10 grams clove
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups raisins, to taste
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1 pinch cinnamon, to taste
  • 1 egg

  • Peel and core the apples.
  • Cut all the apples into small cubes.
  • In a pot, cook the apples with water, cloves, sugar, and cornstarch (previously dissolved in a little warm water).
  • When the water reaches a boil, add the raisins and cinnamon. Adjust the flavor, and once it reaches a thick consistency, remove from heat.
  • Roll out the puff pastry until it is 5 mm thick, fill it with the previous mixture; roll the pastry and seal it using the egg.
  • Bake at 200°C for 40 minutes or until the pastry turns golden.
