Apple Strudel with Cream

This apple strudel is super simple to prepare since it uses puff pastry purchased. It is served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 green apples, peeled and cut into thin slices
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 100 grams puff pastry, purchased

  • Heat the oven to 200 ° C.
  • Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork.
  • Mix the sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add sliced ​​apples and raisins and stir to cover.
  • Put the puff pastry on a flat surface with a little flour and knead to form a rectangle of 40x30 cm.
  • With the short side of the rectangle towards you, put the mixture of apples on top leaving a border of 2 cm around. Roll up like a cue.
  • Put the edge that is next to the bottom on a baking tray and fold down the remaining sides.
  • Cover all the puff pastry with the egg beaten with water. With a sharp knife, cut a few parallel rallies on top of the strudel (so that steam can escape).
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until the strudel is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool on a rack for 20 minutes.
