Apricot Sauce

  • 400 grams apricot, ripe
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons kirsch
  • 1 glass water, lukewarm

  • Rinse, peel, and pit apricots.
  • Transfer apricots to a blender. Add sugar and lukewarm water and blend until smooth.
  • In a saucepan, pour blended mixture and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
  • Remove from heat and strain. Add kirsch and mix apricot sauce thoroughly.
