Baby Meringues

Easy to make and delicious baby meringues. They are very tasty meringues but cooked in a small size to make them bite-sized and not crumble. If you want, you can make them a little larger.

  • 2 egg whites
  • 125 grams granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Preheat the oven to 150°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form; it is important that they are at room temperature. Be careful not to overbeat.
  • Gradually incorporate the sugar until it feels smooth to the touch.
  • Add the vanilla.
  • Using a piping bag or plastic bag, pipe small portions onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until the meringues are dry, being careful not to let them brown. Turn off the oven and let them cool inside the oven.
