Soak the raisins in hot rum and two tablespoons of water.
In a large bowl, put water and lemon juice, and there we will place the apples from which we have removed the core using a special tool for making balls or a knife. We must not pierce the bottom.
By being in the lemon water, they will not turn dark.
In a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar, butter, chopped walnuts, and drained raisins.
Fill the apples with this mixture and place them in a baking dish.
In the baking dish, add the remaining rum with water from the raisins and 1/4 cup of water.
Place in a preheated oven at 200º C for about 45 minutes. The cooking time will depend on the type of apples. Remove when they are done and serve warm or cold.
