4 bananas, large (very ripe)
320 grams self-rising flour
250 grams sugar
80 grams lard, (at room temperature)
4 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla essence
1 cup cow's milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon baking powder
100 grams walnuts, cut into quarters

In a bowl, mash the banana until it breaks apart. It is important that the bananas are very ripe.
Add the milk with the sugar to the bananas and mix.
Mix the flour with the baking soda and the baking powder and sift over the banana mixture and combine everything.
On the other hand, combine the butter (at room temperature) with the vanilla essence and add the eggs one by one.
When everything is well incorporated, add it to the previous mixture.
Add the walnuts and stir to distribute them.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the mixture in a greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake for 20 minutes.
