Bicolor Gelatin

This gelatin recipe is very delicious. The presentation is bicolor and it is delightful!

  • 2 cups strawberries, in halves
  • 1 envelope strawberry gelatin
  • 3 3/4 cups water
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cups condensed milk

  • In a pot, bring one cup of water to a boil and add the packet of gelatin, mixing well. Remove from heat and add 2 cups of cold water. Let it cool and incorporate the strawberries. Allow it to set in the refrigerator in the gelatin mold.
  • Add the gelatin to three-quarters of a cup of water and let it hydrate for 5 minutes. Cook in a double boiler for 5 minutes.
  • Bring the evaporated milk and condensed milk to a boil. Once it boils, incorporate it with the gelatin and let it cool slightly.
  • Pour over the strawberry base that was set in the refrigerator and return it to the refrigerator.
  • Serve once the gelatin has set and is firm, a couple of hours later.
