Blondies are like brownies but without chocolate. The secret to blondies is in the brown sugar and chocolate chips. It's a delicious and easy recipe.

  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter , melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/8 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cups chocolate chips

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a 16x16 square baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the butter and sugar together. Add the egg and vanilla and continue whisking.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and mix.
  • Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
