Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade. Grease with butter and sprinkle a square 16x16 baking dish with flour.
In a large bowl beat butter and sugar with a balloon whisk. Add the egg and vanilla and continue whisking.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and mix.
Pour the mixture into the refractory and bake for 20 minutes or until you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
