Pour all the ingredients (except the apples) into a pot and boil for 7 minutes. Remember to stir constantly, as the caramel will stick and won't work otherwise.
To check if the caramel is ready, take a small spoonful of caramel and drop a few drops into a glass of water; if it hardens quickly, it's ready.
Finally, with a tablespoon, coat the 4 apples, place them on wax paper, and let the caramel dry.
