300 grams bread, the previous day
1 liter cow's milk
100 grams sugar
5 eggs
100 grams butter, or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
raisins, soaked in 1 cup of liquor (for several days or at least the night before)

The bread is cut.
The milk is served with the sugar and when it breaks to boil add the bread and butter. Let it cool and add the beaten eggs and raisins.
Spread a mold with caramel (melting 1 cup of sugar, until golden brown), that the mold is well covered.
Bake at 350 ° F for 45 minutes in a bain-marie (the previous mold inside another mold with water) or when introducing a knife it comes out clean.
