Brownie Cookies

Enjoy the best of two worlds between vanilla and chocolate with these fun brownie cookies, which will delight all your guests. They are soft, spongy and have the perfect combination of flavors.

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, Arm & Hammer®
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa, extra brut
  • 1 egg yolk

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  • Sift the flour, the Arm & Hammer® Sodium Bicarbonate and the salt through a colander.
  • In a bowl beat butter, mashed sugar and refined sugar and vanilla until creamy, add eggs.
  • Add the dry ingredients little by little. Mix well, incorporate the chocolate chips to form a dough.
  • Separate the dough in half, and reserve half.
  • In a bowl place the other half of the dough, add cocoa and the yolk, mix well until obtaining a dark mass, refrigerate and reserve.
  • Form a roll with the two masses and wrap in waxed paper. Freeze 30 minutes.
  • Cut the biscuits with a knife and place in a baking tray.
  • Bake 7 to 10 minutes and cool.
