Brownie cookies

No one can resist chocolate and these cookies combine the best of 2 worlds: chocolate and cookie. With chocolate chips and sprinkled with a pinch of coarse salt, these brownie cookies balance flavors so well.

  • 2/3 cups flour, 90 grams
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa, 12 grams
  • 1 teaspoon REXAL® baking powder, 8 grams
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt, 2 grams
  • 1/4 cups butter, cold, 57 grams
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar, 30 grams
  • 1/4 cups granulated sugar, 30 grams
  • 1 teaspoon D'Gari vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups chocolate chips, 85 grams
  • grain salt, to decorate

  • With the help of your hands, mix the flour with the cocoa in a bowl, add Rexal® Baking Powder, the salt, the butter, the eggs, the muscovado sugar, the refined sugar, D'gari® vanilla essence, until forming a homogeneous mass.
  • Add the chocolate chips and mix until integrated. Place the dough in a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • With the help of your hands, form balls of approximately 40 grams, place them on a tray with waxed paper, leaving them with a space of 5 cm between each of them, sprinkle with grains of salt.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and reserve.
