Brownies for Halloween

The classic brownie recipe to celebrate Halloween with kids.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cups cocoa, sugar-free
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 300 grams semisweet chocolate
  • vanilla frosting, orange and white for decoration

  • Melt the butter sticks and beat with the sugar.
  • Add the eggs, flour, cocoa, and baking powder one by one while continuing to beat.
  • When all the ingredients are incorporated, add the nuts and vanilla.
  • Grease a square baking pan with butter and pour in the mixture.
  • Bake the brownies in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes.
  • While the brownies are baking, melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler and spread it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Remove from the fridge and cut into rectangles with a sharp knife to make the RIPs for your brownies, return the rectangles to the fridge for at least 30 more minutes.
  • Remove the brownies from the oven when a toothpick inserted comes out clean, allow to cool, unmold, and cut into large squares.
  • Assemble the Halloween brownies by placing one brownie and using frosting to stick a rectangle of chocolate.
