  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 300 grams puff pastry
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • cajeta
  • 1 egg, for brushing

  • Preheat the oven to 210°C.
  • Sprinkle flour on the table, roll out the puff pastry into a square. Cut it into 10*10 cm squares.
  • Place the squares of dough on a greased baking sheet to prevent sticking.
  • Put cajeta on the squares and fold them in half. Seal the edges with a bit of egg, pressing down well so that the cajeta doesn't leak out.
  • Brush the empanadas with egg and sprinkle a little sugar on top.
