  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 2 cups chocolate frosting
  • 300 grams semisweet chocolate
  • 200 grams white chocolate

  • Start by preparing the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Once ready, allow it to cool.
  • Prepare two baking sheets with wax paper.
  • In a food processor, grind the chocolate cake until it becomes chocolate cake flour.
  • Pour the chocolate cake into a bowl and mix it with the chocolate frosting. Mix well until it forms a moist and manageable dough.
  • Make 50 balls with your hands from the dough and place them on the trays. Chill the balls in the freezer for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until they are hard and firm.
  • Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a pot using a double boiler.
  • Dip the cake balls in the chocolate and place them on the wax paper. Insert the lollipop stick.
  • Put the cake pops in the freezer for another 10 minutes to let the chocolate harden, while you melt the white chocolate using a double boiler.
  • Remove the pops from the freezer and use a toothpick to create the edges of the American football on each cake pop.
  • Chill for another 10 minutes to harden the chocolate, and you're done!
