2 cups flour, all-purpose or gluten-free flour
1 teaspoon xanthan gum
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
1/2 teaspoons clove
1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 cup banana purée, approx. 2 bananas, mashing the banana with a fork
1 cup coconut milk, canned, mix well before measuring
1/2 cups canola oil
2 teaspoons cider vinegar, of apple
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chip, dairy-free
cups icing sugar, for decoration

Preheat the oven to 350 ºF. Lightly grease a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
In a separate bowl, mix bananas, coconut milk, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and whisk until combined. Add the chocolate chips, do not mix.
Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Rotate the bread halfway through the baking time. Let cool and enjoy.
