  • Instructions for the Cake: Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Grease and flour the molds.
  • Cream the butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Incorporate the sugar and continue beating until well combined.
  • Add the eggs one by one, waiting for each to incorporate before adding the next.
  • Add the vanilla.
  • On the other hand, mix the salt, baking powder, flour, and sift.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the mixture and finally the milk.
  • Pour the mixture into the molds and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
  • Unmold and let rest overnight.
  • Instructions for the Buttercream Frosting: Beat the butter in a mixer.
  • Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar while continuing to mix.
  • Add the vanilla and milk.
  • Divide the frosting and add a different vegetable coloring to each part.
  • Once the cake layers are cool, you can make a hole in the center. You can use a circular cutter or a large glass to help you. The larger the circle you make, the more candies your cake will have.
  • On a cake base, place a little frosting to ensure the cake doesn’t move when placed on it.
  • Make a hole in one of the cake layers. Place it on the cake base and spread frosting on top with the help of a spatula.
  • Do the same with the other layer, but this time keep the center you removed with the cutter or glass. Place it on top of the other layer.
  • Fill with your favorite candies, we suggest chocolate-covered treats, candies, chocolate coins, etc.
  • Place the center you previously removed as a lid.
  • Cover the entire cake with frosting in the color of your choice using a spatula.
  • For decoration, we suggest placing two tablespoons of frosting in the color you like the most inside a piping bag. The type of decoration will depend on the tip you choose.
  • If desired, you can add edible glitter, colorful sprinkles, or any ingredient you like. Let your imagination run wild.
