2 cups flour, for the cake
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
4 egg whites
1 1/2 cups cow's milk
1 stick unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 tub vanilla frosting
1 jar strawberry jam
rainbow sprinkles
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the baking powder, flour, and salt.
Beat the egg whites together with the milk.
Beat the butter until a creamy consistency is achieved.
Gradually add the sugar to the butter and once well mixed, add the vanilla.
Add the mixture of dry ingredients in 3 parts, alternating with the egg mixture. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
Place in a greased and floured mold.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and cut the cake in half.
Fill the center with jam and vanilla frosting.
Reassemble the top of the cake leaving the filling in the middle.
Cover the entire cake with frosting (you can use a piping bag) and sprinkle colored chips on top.
