In a large bowl, mix the following ingredients one at a time, stirring well after each addition: eggs, sugar, 2 tablespoons of butter, oil, cocoa powder, yogurt, and vanilla.
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add to the sugar and egg mixture, then add the boiling water and stir.
Pour the batter into two 20 cm round baking pans (greased and floured). Sprinkle 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over each pan. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes, let cool slightly.
To make the frosting, start by beating 1/2 cup of butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla, milk, and coffee. Beat until creamy. Add more powdered sugar if you want a thicker consistency. Spread the frosting over the cake.
