Chocolate Cake with Orange, Plum, and Red Wine

  • 1 kilo wheat flour
  • 24 eggs
  • 680 grams sugar
  • 225 grams raisins
  • 225 grams prunes
  • 1/2 bottles red wine
  • 225 grams almonds
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • 6 oranges

  • Cream the margarine and sugar, then gradually incorporate the eggs and sifted flour. Continue beating, and finally add the raisins, plums, and almonds with the wine.
  • Separately, grate the oranges and squeeze the juice, which is added to the batter along with the zest.
  • Grease and flour the cake pan, then place it in the oven for 60 minutes at a temperature of 280 degrees C.
  • After baking the cake, remove it, and in a bowl over a double boiler, place the chocolate and melt it. Pour the chocolate over the cake, then use a spatula to spread the chocolate all over the cake and decorate it as you like; that's up to your taste.
