Homemade Cake with Chocolate Pastry Cream

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 250 grams unsalted margarine
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 glass cow's milk
  • 250 grams cow's milk
  • 50 grams chocolate, for melting
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 20 grams flour

  • Have all the ingredients ready to use.
  • Beat the margarine until creamy.
  • Gradually add the sugar.
  • Then add the eggs, one by one.
  • Now add the 3 cups of flour and stir gently with a spatula, folding it in.
  • From the milk jug, add the amount you see necessary.
  • Grease and flour your container to proceed with placing the mixture.
  • Bake for 45 minutes at a temperature of 350ºF. Let cool and set aside.
  • For the decoration: In a saucepan, dissolve the chocolate in the milk over medium heat. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks, sugar, and flour. Incorporate this mixture into the saucepan with the milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until it boils. When the cream thickens, remove from heat. Let it cool in a plate or plastic container before using.
