Homemade Cake with Chocolate Pastry Cream

Try this unique and special cake recipe with chocolate custard. A real delight to present at your events; its flavor will conquer all as well as its spongy texture.

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 250 grams unsalted margarine
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 glass milk
  • 250 grams milk
  • 50 grams chocolate, to melt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 20 grams flour


Have all the ingredients to use at your fingertips.
Beat the margarine until it looks creamy.
Add the sugar little by little.
Then the eggs are added, 1 to 1.
Now add the 3 cups of flour and shake with a palette, in an enveloping form.
From the glass of milk add the amount you see necessary.
Enmanteque and flour your container to proceed to place the mixture.
Take to the oven for a time of 45 min. at 350 ° C. Allow to cool and set aside.
For decoration: In a saucepan dissolve the chocolate in the milk over medium heat. In a bowl beat the yolks, sugar and flour. Incorporate this preparation to the pan with the milk. Cook over medium heat without stopping mixing until it boils- When the cream thickens, remove it from the heat. Stop chilling in a plastic dish or container before using.
