Milky Way Chocolate Cake

This cake is made with Milky Way chocolate bars that give it a delicious flavor with hints of caramel.

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 140 grams milky way chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 cup whole milk, with a few drops of lemon
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 stick butter, for the frosting
  • 135 grams milky way chocolate, for the frosting
  • 3 cups icing sugar, for the frosting
  • 3 cups cow's milk, or cream (for the frosting)

  • Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease a bundt cake pan with butter.
  • Melt 1 stick of butter and the Milky Way chocolate bars in a pot.
  • Mix the salt, baking soda, and flour well in a bowl and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream the other stick of butter and sugar.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Add the vanilla to the eggs with sugar.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk until everything is well combined.
  • Add the melted chocolate with the butter and the walnuts. Mix well.
  • Pour into a bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and a half.
  • Prepare the frosting. Melt the stick of butter and the 135g of Milky Way chocolate. Add powdered sugar and milk (or cream) until the desired consistency is achieved.
  • Frost the cake (once it has cooled) with chocolate icing and decorate with chopped walnuts.
