Super Chocolate Cake

A delicious irresistible dessert for those chocolate lovers, chocolate here, a bit of chocolate there, lots of chocolaty chocolate everywhere.

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 cups water, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar, or apple
  • packages chocolate, milk chocolate bars (various)
  • 100 grams chocolate, colored candied chocolate
  • 170 grams butter, for the frosting
  • 50 grams bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar, powdered sugar for the frosting
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the frosting
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream, for the frosting

  • For the cake: Preheat the oven to 180° degrees.
  • Mix the sugar, flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda.
  • In another bowl, mix the water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.
  • Put the wet ingredients over the dry ones and mix until well combined.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the cake.
  • For the frosting: Melt the butter together with the chocolate.
  • Mix the powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream.
  • Add the chocolate with the butter and mix until achieving the desired consistency.
  • Once the cake is cool, cover it with the frosting and decorate with chocolate bars and colored candied chocolates.
