  • 3/4 cups whipping cream, for the coffee cream
  • 4 teaspoons instant coffee, for the coffee cream
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, for the coffee cream
  • 1 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, for the coffee cream
  • 50 donuts, small, cinnamon
  • 3/4 cups whipping cream, for the topping
  • 1 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, for the topping
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for the topping
  • 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cups icing, white, for covering
  • coffee grains, for decorating

  • For the coffee cream, heat the whipping cream over medium heat, add the instant coffee, ground cinnamon, dark chocolate, and cook until all ingredients are dissolved. Place in a bowl and cover with cling film touching the cream to avoid air. Refrigerate until well chilled.
  • Remove the whipping cream and beat the cream until it forms peaks. Place it in a piping bag with a star tip and set aside.
  • On a plate, arrange a layer of donuts and cover with the coffee cream. Repeat until you have 3 layers. On the top layer, spread the remaining cream and set aside.
  • For the topping, heat the cream and add the chocolate and butter, mixing until incorporated. Chill slightly.
  • Pour the topping over the cake and let it drip down the sides. Allow to set.
  • Decorate some of the leftover donuts with melted chocolate and glaze, place coffee beans on top and let dry.
  • Place the decorated donuts on top and in the center of the cake. Cut and enjoy.
