Beat 1 1/2 sticks of butter together with the sugar until creamy, then add the vanilla and sour cream.
Sift together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.
Alternately add the flour mixture and the milk to the creamed butter mixture.
Beat for two more minutes on low speed until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the mixture into the bundt pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out dry. Unmold and let cool for 15 minutes.
To prepare the frosting, mix 1/2 stick of melted butter, powdered sugar, and orange juice in a bowl.
The cake is coated with the frosting so that the entire surface is covered.
