15 hot cakes, previously made as indicated on the package
3 cups strawberries, in thin slices
1 teaspoon lime juice
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 cups fresh cream
2/3 cups whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

To make the filling, place 2 cups of strawberries in a bowl. Add lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. If you prefer it sweeter, add 1 to 2 more tablespoons of sugar.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the fresh cream, whipping cream, vanilla, and remaining granulated sugar (2 tablespoons).
Beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form and hold their shape.
Place hot cakes in a baking dish until the bottom is perfectly covered, spread the cream, and add the strawberries with a bit of their juice. Repeat with the following layers.
On the last layer, add cream and decorate with the remaining strawberry slices.
