Impossible Cake or Chocoflan

When you present this cake to your guests, they will think you are a culinary expert, even though its preparation is quite simple. It is a perfect and very original cake for birthdays. It can even be made in individual molds.

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 100 grams Philadelphia® cream cheese

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix

  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC and beat the eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and cream cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the chocolate cake mix with the oil, milk, and egg, and beat until you have a uniform mixture.
  • Place the cajeta in the mold or molds you will be using, and then pour in the first mixture you prepared, filling it up to about halfway. Next, add the second mixture. It doesn't matter if it sinks to the bottom or not, because once we bake it, the flan will end up at the bottom and the cake will be on top.
  • Place the mold or molds in a water bath, covering them with aluminum foil, and put them in the oven at 180ºC for an hour and a half.
  • When you take the cake out of the oven, let it cool, and then refrigerate it for about two hours before serving. Unmold it by flipping it over, and it's ready.
