This princess cake features an edible sugar print on a wafer, perfect for impressing with a homemade cake. The best part is you can use any image you like.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the 1/2 cup of butter until fluffy, add the sugar and beat until well combined, then add one egg at a time.
Start gradually adding the flour mixture into the butter until fully incorporated. Add one tablespoon of vanilla and mix for 2 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the pan and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
For decoration, you will need a large wafer coated with sugar and print the princess image using a special printer with edible ink or trace the image with edible markers.
Place the large sugar wafer already decorated with the princess image on top and use a star tip to pipe the frosting around the cake, thus covering the edge of the wafer.
Cover the entire edge and borders of the cake with frosting in your preferred color.
