Mom's Impossible Cake

  • 500 grams cake mix, chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk, or water
  • 1/3 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 cup cajeta
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • Preheat the oven to 250°C.
  • Grease and flour the large bundt cake mold and cover the bottom with cajeta.
  • Mix the cake flour with the water.
  • Add the eggs and oil, beat until you obtain a homogeneous mixture and set aside.
  • For the flan, blend the milks, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Pour the cake mixture into the mold and then pour a bit of the flan mixture on top.
  • Cover the mold with aluminum foil so that it is sealed. Bake in a water bath for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool completely, unmold and serve.
